A week ago I was still wearing sandals and t-shirts during the day, maybe grabbing a sweatshirt if I went out at night but not even worrying if I didn’t bring one.
Today I am bundled up in a big wool sweater, wool socks, and wondering why I wasn’t bright enough to already have space heaters in place.
That was fast.
It’s pouring out–the chilly, shivery, gets-into-your-bones cold/rain combination. I was told that winters in Israel were, er, notable (less the temperature than the fact that we all have stone tile floors and no internal heating systems–my school included) and I guess this is what they meant.
I am meeting a friend for soup in a bit. It’s soup season, aiight.
