I am fried like a fried thing. Potato, rather than jelly-filled, probably.
I pretty much hit my limit yesterday, wherein I managed to get a little bit of work done but was in probably the evilest mood ever. It wasn’t pretty, really.
Today I had All the Appointments (dentist, etc.) so I just bagged on doing any real work in the morning and got my bi-annual haircut instead (which, sadly, did not wind up de-evilifying me–why on earth, when I say, “Take the minimum,” is that interpreted to mean, “chop a year’s worth of growth”???), wandered around downtown and poked at shiny things instead. Shiny things! I may take tomorrow off for a real Yom Keif (playday) but maybe not. I don’t know, I haven’t decided yet. It would probably do me some good, and send me back to work with a little more focus and energy. Hrm.
In the meantime, here’s your Nominally Cute Hanukah Song of the Day. It is, at the very least, musically competent. I’m not so into this seasonal music thing, but if you are, you might dig this:
The LeeVees! I just bought their album for our Hanukkah party — it’s full of awesome great Jewish tunes!
