Well, the contract for my book (with all signatures in place) arrived yesterday. Guess I really actually have to write this thing now, huh?
In other news, I am going on a bit of a minication (really, just a long weekend) to Eilat in a couple of days. The Red Sea! Fishies! I’m very excited. I’ve never been, and frankly I could use a break from all this city, a chance to relaaaax a little. It’ll only be 2 1/2 days there (one of which is Shabbat, so gotta get my snorkling in beforehand) but I’m still very happy about the prospect.
But man, I’m tired. Last night was one of those insomnia thangs, now I can barely get it together to make sense of the words on the page. But I suppose that’s my job, so here I go, wish me luck.
An actual official book contract — mazal tov! I wish you strength and perseverance and all that other good jazz one needs to get an actual book actually written. 🙂
And have a great time in Eilat.
hey, thanks. I actually signed the thing months ago, but it took a while to get countersigned, processed, mailed to me. I guess technically I’ve been contractually obligated since July, but now there’s *really* no turning back…..
Mazal tov! And good luck! (Hey, shouldn’t those two mean the same thing? …)
BS”D
YAY!
Mazal tov!
you go get ’em, girl!
