“Jerusalem Syndrome is a psychological and behavioral disorder which affects about 150 pilgrims to Jerusalem every year. Most often the victims begin to assume the identity of various prophets from the Old Testament, like Daniel or David, or important figures from the New Testament like Jesus or the Virgin Mary. They foretell doom and wear white robes, walking around the old city while preaching lengthy sermons.”
My flight arrives July 16th. I’m sort of hoping to get a minor prophet–I mean, Isaiah would be cool, but how many other people are out there channelling Obadiah or Habakkuk? It might just be a niche market with lots of potential.
Then again, maybe I should think bigger than that.
