Hey, Becca--

OK, here's the trick. It's pretty radical, and it requires serious willpower: You have to unplug the modem. Maybe some days you're less distractible and just regular willpower will work to keep you from spending the day reading about Katie Holmes or how to turn an old lightbulb into an aquarium, but some days you just need to unplug the thing for a few hours to get some dang work done. Either that or leave the house and go someplace with no internet. Fo' reals.

Great website.... I feel more connected to my time in Israel (Pardes) just by reading it. About writing..... I'm finding that the internet is a huge distraction, even when my butt is in the chair..... any tips? Best of luck to you and thanks for blogging.
