BTW, the canon (and all the songs mentioned above) is I-V-VI-III-IV-I-IV-V, lather rinse repeat.  ("Basket Case" is missing the IV, but that's not such a big deal.)  That's right, each iteration ends with a half cadence, ending on the dominant (V) chord.  It does &lt;B&gt;not&lt;/B&gt; go back to the tonic.  The worst thing in the world is when Jews try to use "Pachelbel's Canon" in davening, and go back to the tonic every time (I-V-VI-III-IV-V-I)</description>
