Never mind any of the spiritual stuff: If we had it during a northern summer, it would be in the dead of winter in the southern hemisphere. I'm currently looking out the window as we enjoy about our second or third straight week of sunshine. A nice time to do outside-stuff.

I'm not quite sure the eating/sleeping/doing-anything-but-
getting-to-your-car outside bit really works when the temperature only thinks about getting into double figures (celsius) and it is wet/ raining/ drizzly/ snowing/ blizzardy. The only options seem to me to be during autumn or during spring. I'd certainly rather prepare for sukkot during the high holidays than pesach...

OK, in the last five minutes before chag...
But it wouldn't work any other time of year.... Sukkot is the honeymoon after the fight, It's moving back in together after the separation - you can't make up before you fight (or at least - uh, oh, then you don't get to make up...) or even worse, in the middle (that's like the last awful movie I watched in which the couple in the middle of fighting, the husband starts grabbing the wife by the throat and then she starts pulling his pants off.... EWWW!!!).
Nope, the best we could do would be to extend the waiting period... but do you really want to wait a month until we find out whwether God wants to get back together or not?

Best love,
Al.
