		<description>I think the blinky-shiny thing is the major startlement of culture shock for my friends who have lived abroad and then returned to the U.S. If it's any consolation, I get the feeling you'll eventually feel more normal about being here, though you may never feel entirely normal about it. Which is probably a good thing, I dunno. *g*
