And now it’s raining–cold and wet and grey and spitty. I understand that it’s good for the land, and still. We were getting done with winter, weren’t we???
What is a Jewish word that’s used in religious literature to describe a transcendent experience akin to Buddhism’s “satori”?
‘Cause that’s what I had last night.
So, what is it? I’m tired of calling it satori.

Ooh, satori = fun.
I believe the phrase that we use is “mattan Torah,” honeybun.
